That comeback was absolutely legendary!

A teacher decided it was time to give her class a lesson about confidence and self-esteem.

She smiled warmly and said, “I want everyone who thinks they’re stupid to stand up.”

The classroom became completely silent. Every student stayed glued to their seat.

After a long, awkward pause, one boy slowly stood up.

The teacher looked surprised. She hadn’t expected anyone to volunteer.

Trying to encourage him, she asked kindly, “So, why do you think you’re stupid?”

The boy shook his head.

“I don’t.”

The teacher looked confused. “Then why did you stand up?”

With a perfectly straight face, he replied, “Because you were standing there all by yourself, and I felt bad.”

The class exploded with laughter.

Even the quiet kids couldn’t stop giggling.

The teacher tried to keep a serious face, but after a few seconds she burst out laughing too.

She smiled and said, “Well, your confidence certainly isn’t the problem.”

The boy grinned proudly.

“I know,” he said. “My problem is knowing when to keep my mouth shut.”

The class laughed even harder, and the lesson on self-esteem became one nobody ever forgot. 😂
